PAROS Charter base - Cyclades islands - Sailing in GREECE

Paros Island Parikia Aerial Photo Charter GreeceTHE MARINA
Parikia (Paroikia) port is located in Paroikia bay which is the main port of Paros island for all kinds of vessels. The taxi ride from the airport (yes, there is a small airport in Paros) to the marina takes about 20 minutes. The ferry terminal from the marina is at a 10-minutes walk.

HOW TO REACH OUR PAROS BASE
Paros Island can be reached by plane or by ferry. The airport only caters to domestic flights run once a day from Athens by Olympic Air and cost approximately 70 Euro per person. The flying time from Athens to Paros is about 35 minutes. The airport is located 9km away from the capital of Paros, in Parikia but you can find public buses that run frequently from/ to the A Small Airplane Morning flight from Athens to Parosairport. Taxis are also available. If you prefer a charter flight to reach the island, it gets a bit more complicated but maybe worth the trouble. All major tour operators that book holidays in Paros arrange their charter flights to Mykonos Island or Athens and then a ferry to Paros. The airport of Mykonos caters dozens of international flights on a daily basis from most European cities. From there, you can take a taxi to the port (which will cost you about 10 Euro) and a hydrofoil or catamaran (fast boats) to Paros which will cost you approx. 15 Euro and you will be in Paros in 40 minutes.

From May to September there are more than 3-4 ferries leaving every day from Piraeus Port (Athens) to Paros (Ticket cost Euro 25-30 per person and duration 3-5.5 hours). During off-season months (April and October), the ferry connections are reduced by 50%.
